Meaning of Blood Moon, Monster Moon, Super Moon & Lunar Eclipses
For the last few years in astology, we have been hearing about various moons. They started in the beginning of this decade, with the Monster Moon. Then we had a series of “Blood Moons” and now a “Super Moon” is headed our way. Put simly, full moons are a time of change, wishes and setting up plans for the next cycle – when the moon is large, it is time to “dream Big”.
Not everyone sees a special moon as a portemtious omen, however! Have you heard that a series of lunar eclipses is now heralding the end of the world? I have, and so has a good friend of mine – in a very unusual way. My friend is currently travelling, surfing and photographing his travels. Right now he is in Finca Magdalena, Isla Ometepe, Lake Nicaragua, posting some very cool shots on his great blog Salted Boards. Check out his blog if you love surfing, travel and food.
The Blood Moon: An alien told my friend the world is ending
As I found out on his Facebook page, the other day, apparently my friend met an alien. I found his post very interesting, because the “alien” spoke to my friend about the series of eclipses that we have been having over the last 24 months (since April 2013). I have blogged extensively about the Monster Moons and how they broke up my awful past relationship. I also wrote about the 2014 eclipses and the Recent Eclipses in Libra because I have felt their effects so greatly.
Here is what my friend, Salted Boards had to say:
“I just had a conversation with an alien… he has a tattoo of himself on his arm…apparently Omotepe is the centre of the lunar eclipse universe and the world is ending on the fourth blood lunar eclipse…or at least that seems to be the gist of it…can anyone verify these ramblings?
Where is Omotepe?
According to Wikipedia: “Ometepe is an island formed by two volcanoes rising from Lake Nicaragua in the Republic of Nicaragua.”
According to one of my friend’s Facebook friends, Omotepe is a very strange and interesting place. She says, “Watch out for Ometepe, it is indeed a very spiritual and powerful place. Stuff goes on there at night where humans turn into animals.”
So what does the alien say is going to happen at the next lunar eclipse?
“Dude that alien was intense…he has a Spanish accent and is wearing a blue HP Computers polo shirt….also that there is going to be a massive “something” happening on the fourth moon, even though time is a human construct and doesn’t actually exist…I’m very confused…but this website seems to have it all sorted apparently.”
The website the Spanish alien wanted you to read was this one:
Tetrad Red Blood Moon lunar eclipses
This website claims that the next blood moon will be on October 8th, 2014. Interestingly, that is my birthday – so I am doubly worried.
My friend adds, “It marks the second coming. That will be the 10th second coming in the last 20 years. I think it’s those crosses everywhere are scaring him off.”
This is now a direct quote from the weird website:
“The 14th April 2014 Jewish Passover and 8th October 2014 Sukkot Lunar Eclipses take place on the SAME EXACT DATES as did the 70 AD Jewish Passover and Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles lunar eclipses which occurred when the Roman Army destroyed the 2nd Jewish Temple and Masada Military Fortress effectively ending over a thousand years of Jewish rule in the Nation of Israel!”
Blergh. For a start – the copy is very badly written, and I not sure if this website might be a little racist – so please note that these are not my own personal feelings. The website also asks the question:
“How does a person become worthy to escape the wrath coming to this world and stand before the Son of Man?”
And gives the answer: “1 Thessolonians 5:9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Sigh – OK I do not want to turn this into an evangelising post – I do not care who/if/what you worship. That is your business. If you would like to read some of my posts on spirituality, check out the tabs at the top of my blog.
So, are we all aliens?
The “alien” my friend met, said yes. “His theory is that we are all aliens,” my friend posted, “as in we have fused DNA. I will report back with more findings tomorrow.”
Other churches that believe in alien contact
Well, this may surprise you but there are many (quite mainstream) spiritual groups that believe that we are/have had contact with aliens.
FLDS Church
For example, the FLDS church in the US is huge. It stands for The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and according to Wikipedia there are 10 000 members residing in the sister cities of Hildale, Utah and Colorado City, Arizona.
They believe that, “when you die, you can go on to be a God on your own planet. When you have mortal children, these spirit babies come down to earth. If a man has more wives, he can bring more babies into the world. They believe that a man and his wives will be together forever in eternity, so a husband and wife will stay together as a God and Goddess on their own planet.” This blog is the source of these claims, but I have read many first-hand memoirs that say the same thing.
Church of Scientology
Also – Scientology. Of course we all know that there are aliens in L Ron Hubbard’s history of the planet. I am fascinated by L Ron. I even wrote a post called Phillip Seymour Hoffman and the links with L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology and The Master. I think he was a bit of a nutcase.
According to Wikipedia: “Scientology can be seen as a UFO religion in which the existence of extraterrestrial entities operating unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are an element of belief.” Read the article here.
Theosophy
And now to my very favourite. “The Venusians travelled to earth through mind projection (according to W. Scott-Elliot), inhabiting the bodies of the root race of Lemuria, or through an armada of space ships (according to A. E. Powell).” Read this great post here.
Blavatsky says that the human race was created by these aliens cross-breeding with the animals/beings of this Earth. It’s an interesting theory – but one most people would find quite far-fetched.
So – do you think you are an alien? If you do, I’d love to hear your story! Please share it with me.
