What does it mean to dream about Walmart?
Having a dream about Walmart sounds like a weird occurrence, right? Well, anything we do in real life (shopping, texting, eating) can appear in our dreams, so it’s not as strange as it sounds. My dreamer today is Pamela from Lawrenceville, Georgia USA who has had a really interesting dream where she dreams she is at Walmart.
Pamela describes her dream: “I’m at a Walmart parking lot, then I’m then inside the store. It’s not exactly like Walmart, but more like a small private hospital. An old man keeps trying to keep me from leaving – I’m fighting to get away – but no one really believes me. As we are fighting, I’m trying to lock the door of the car but he still manages to get in.”

Right-o, let’s get into this one then, shall we? Where I live in Australia, we do not have Walmart. I know what it is from the movies, and from TV. Walmart actually operates in 28 countries, and they sell a range of goods at their chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores and grocery stores.
Walmart is known as a shopping centre for people who are looking for a good deal. If Rodeo Drive is for the A-lister, then Walmart is for the D-lister. That’s not to say I wouldn’t shop there personally, just that this may provide a clue as to what dreaming about Walmart really means.
Dreaming of a bargain or dreaming about “bargain hunting”
Dream Moods says, “To dream that you are bargaining for something indicates that you are being undervalued. Perhaps you are not putting in as much effort into a project or relationship as you should be.” Could dreaming of a discount store be an indication of your level of self-worth?
Dreaming about shopping in a mall
Dream Moods also says that when we dream of shopping at the mall, this symbolises “the choices, decisions and options you have in your waking life.” The website goes on to suggest that these choices might even shape who you are as a person and may be relevant to your personal identity and sense of self.
Shopping is an ancient human necessity and meeting at the local marketplace or town square has connotations of social interactions, social standing and preparing for the future of your home and family. Dreaming of Walmart may have some of these as threads, Pamela.

Pamela’s Dream about the old man
Could the old man symbolise maturity and wisdom to you? The fact that he is trying to fight you indicates that you may be experiencing inner turmoil. Are you fighting some aspect of yourself? Cars also symbolise “the direction you are going in life” so perhaps there is a question around whether you are battling the older, wiser aspect of yourself and trying to lock him out.
Alternatively, you may be dreaming about a real and domineering male who has been aggressive towards you in real life. What characteristics did this man have and why were you fighting him so much? A dream about Walmart is a very interesting thing!

I had a dream that I was in Walmart, and the skies were a dark grey/green combo with heavy rain and wind, and in the dream, I was just browsing the whole store and running around like a little kid, but I never got lost because I knew where I was going. When it came time to leave, it turned out we were under a Tornado warning. I saw cars get picked up and tossed around like ragdolls, but I never saw an actual tornado. Moments later the roof of Walmart got ripped off, but oddly enough, we were safe. Then the dream faded to my house under the same scenario. In my dream it too was under a tornado warning and this time I saw it ravage my back yard, but it never did serious damage to the house. I keep having dreams about tornadoes for whatever reason, yet I never know why.

so i was in a walmart parking lot and my mom kept telling me to get into the van once i did get in some guy hit my mom and tryed to drive off with the van my mom mouthed these words “break the window’ i did so which made me fall out i ran to my mother hurt i gave her a base ball bat when she started hitting him with the bat it didn’t vase him he kept saying i you are gonna be a new part of the collection and that i was gonna fit in wellthat freaked me out but my mom got pissed she started swinging that bat so hard it was almost breaking i went and grabbed huge slugger bat and started hitting him with the bat with my mom it started doing some damage so he backed up he tryed to get in his car so i started smashing it with the bat he got at yelling go away! in this very demonic voice he fell over which then made him have a stroke while he screamed in this painful way that hurt my ears other people got out there cars wondering whats wrong which then they fucking blamed me like it was all our fault even though they didn’t give a shit when he was trying to kidnap me i backed up in the dream and just woke up now every time i fucking sleep i hear you are gonna be a good part of the collection and that i was gonna fit in well but on the same time i did win he could have drove away with me if it wasn’t to my own mother i know it wasn’t real but i cant help but respect my mother for how she saved my life in that dream

I had a dream where I was the manager at a walmart and I was doing normal manager things. Then suddenly I spot ALL of my current and previous friends. I was in shock and caught up with all of them and asked about life then one of my staff quit because “you give them more attention than you give us”. I didn’t really care since I didn’t know them well. Then I was arranging the Paychecks. I knew the dream would be over soon so I gave each employee a 2,500 check and said “Good Luck” and Gave the happiest employee the manager position and I quit and the dream ended.
