6 super-fast ways to lose weight in 3 days

Weight loss should be done slowly to be sustainable, but I have also read reports that it’s imperative to kick-start your diet by seeing some fast results as this can encourage us to keep going. Indeed, in French Women Don’t Get Fat, the author speaks of her Leek Soup Diet which is just awful and involves eating nothing but (essentially) onion-y water for 3 whole days.

I have researched 6 quick ways to drop up to 5 pounds or 2 kilos in as little as 3 days. As you know, always be sensible and check with your doctor if you feel that you need some advice on obesity and nutrition.

Fasting

Flushing

Drink as much water as you possibly can (within reason – use good sense) but not exceeding 6 litres per day. Drink only fresh, filtered water and herbal tea. Keep your diet to natural foods: fruit and vegetables, plain meat with fresh herbs and a half cup of brown rice or quinoa at dinner.

Sweating

Eat what you normally do but sweat 3 times a day for 30 minutes. This could be in a sauna, by running or walking very fast, or even between the sheets – just make sure you put some effort in and keep those beads of sweat flowing for at least 20 – 30 minutes.

Running

One of the best ways to lose weight always has been (and always will be) running. You don’t necessarily need to go super-fast all the time, just fast enough to work up a good sweat, as with the diet buster above.

Greens
